There is an instrument that will enhance the safety of a PV installation and also keep you on the safe side economically: the E-CHECK PV.
The E-CHECK PV is a standard-compliant inspection of a PV installation based on effective VDE regulations. A test report documents whether the installation corresponds to demands after being checked, and this is verified by the E-CHECK inspection plate. You will protect persons and the installation, as well as components, by using this recognized procedure, which may only be practiced by specially trained electricians from certified specialist companies. ADLER Solar is a certified specialist company entitled to per-form the E-CHECK PV.
The aim of the inspection is to prevent damages and furnish proof in the event of damage. In addition, the E-CHECK PV enables you to fulfill all necessary standards and regulations in one inspection procedure.
The E-CHECK PV tests the following:
- Serviceability and operability
- Appropriate state of technical safety
- Protection against electric shock
- Protection against electrically ignited fire
- Measures against the effects of lightning and voltage surges
- Potential for saving energy
The following services can be performed in addition to ensure that your PV installation is as efficient as possible:
- Inverter maintenance
- Infrared image, inverter
- Maintenance of appliance connection box
- Characteristic measurement
- Efficiency measurement, inverter
- Electroluminescence image in installed status
- Electroluminescence image and performance measurement at the module level by means of the MBJ mobile test center
The E-Check inspection plate is the seal of quality of the specialist companies in the electrical industry. The E-CHECK PV furnishes proof to insurance companies, trade supervisory authorities, and employer’s liability insurance associations that a PV installation is in perfect condition. In accordance with the rules of BGV A3 or VDE 0105-100, the inspection should be repeated within a period of four years.
Our team will be pleased to advise you.

ADLER Solar Awarded Contract to Build a Renewable Energy Reference Installation in Japan
ADLER Solar has been awarded a contract to build a PV installation in Japan within the scope of the Renewable Energy Solutions (RES) program of the German Energy Agency (dena). The program’s funds will enable ADLER Solar to build a PV roof installation as part of a training center and thus further anchor the ADLER Solar Works joint venture founded last spring and based in Yokohama in the target market of Japan.
The service sector for PV installations and components in Japan has hitherto hardly been developed. One of the goals of the project is therefore to show all market participants that the services offered by ADLER Solar Works offer added value in the service life of the PV installation and thus can ensure that the installation performs for more than 20 to 25 years. Another goal is to organize a comprehensive transfer of knowledge and experience in the PV training center planned by ADLER Solar und ADLER Solar Works, on whose roof the installation will be installed in the coming months.
“We are pleased to have been awarded the contract from dena for this sustainable project! Thanks to the training center and with the PV installation, we can pass on the specialized knowledge and many years of valuable experience we have gained in Germany and Europe in a concrete, practical way and thus optimally serve the needs of the individual target groups in Japan,” says Gerhard Cunze, Managing Director of ADLER Solar.
The planning for the training center and the PV installation is currently running at full speed. An on-site inspection was held at a joint meeting with representatives of dena on November 9 and 10 in Yokohama. The opening of the reference installation and the PV training center is planned for spring 2016.
The project is being implemented in the course of the Renewable Energy Solutions program called into being by the German Energy Agency (dena) and promoted by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) as part of the “Renewable Energies Export Initiative”.
