Over the past year ADLER Solar staff have been working on mobile tests in the UK in all weather conditions.
ADLER Solar has completed and is currently working on incoming goods inspections for various clients at various places in the south of England. In doing so, the quality of the modules promised to the clients is checked at the building site and any transport damages identified.
Depending on the wishes of the assignment, these tests must be done in a manner appropriate to the plant’s respective state of construction. Here the test methods are flexibly adapted into the supply chain for the structure, sometimes seven days a week.
Each assignment involves testing random samples of several thousand modules and repacking them for safe transport in order to clear the respective charge so it can be built into the installation immediately. Thus clients can be sure that the newly built photovoltaic plant is equipped with flawless modules.
ADLER Solar’s own modern mobile testing laboratories are used. These testing laboratories developed by MBJ enable on-site electroluminescence imaging to detect micro-cracks, thermographic images to identify hot spots and sunlight simulating flash tests to measure performance at a high level of technical quality to be conducted.
Optionally, the results of the measurements can also be compared on site to the performance numbers and EL images from the final production inspection. Thanks to the on-site tests, our clients have tested modules available for installation.

Meet the ADLER Solar team at the coming industry events
32nd OTTI PV Symposium
Every March, Banz Abbey in the Franconian town of Bad Staffelstein gives itself over entirely to photovoltaics. The symposium on photovoltaic solar energy now being organized by OTTI for the 31st time will bring together technicians and practitioners from March 9-11, 2016.
Dipl.-Phys. Thomas Schätz, a physicist, and Dipl.-Wirt.-Ing. Sönke Jäger, an industrial engineer, will be at the PV symposium, along with the director of the ADLER Solar site at Anzing near Munich, to bring the knowledgeable input gleaned from ADLER Solar’s market experience to bear at the symposium and the conference preceding it.
